OMG!!! Those are AWESOME!!! I soooo love (and took) numbers 13, 18, 25, 45, and 50!!!!

Do you charge to make personalized ones??? Cause if not, I think I would like one....And if you do, how much?

I usually charge, and will in the future, but I am insanely bored as my friend is homeless from the hurricane at the moment so she can't be online and I can't go to her, so yeah, I need serious distraction.

When I do charge I don't for just one icon, I do it by the sets. 10 dollars for a set of 15 and 60 dollars for a set of one hundred, only because I put a lot of work into them. For now, I will make sets of three for free.

I don't know if you're interested, and tell me to bugger off if you aren't, but perhaps since you're looking to make icons, you might be interested in offering your services at [livejournal.com profile] fandom_charity for one of the causes that benefits the hurricane victims?

I am not sure I understand how this works...

There's a lot of info in the userinfo (www.livejournal.com/community/fandom_charity/info) of the community.

Basically, various people post offers to do whatever service it is they want to offer (such as make graphics) and a price list. Generally, most will also post a link to examples of their work. Within the post, they also specify a charity that accepts on-line donations (such as the Red Cross) and a link to the charity.

Then, if anyone is interested, they can respond to the ad and ask for whatever, promising to donate to that cause the specified amount. You can ask for them to forward a screenshot of the confirmation page or the confirmation email, if you like to ensure they've actually donated, or just take it on trust.

Also, you're free to respond to other's ads if you like.

Just a thought, since you were offering to make icons!

I think that is a great idea. I will have to check that out. Thank you and thank you to the comm for doing this. My best friend was affected by the hurricane, so I fully understand.

*nod* Yes. One of my very good on-line friends is now homeless also, without a car (she and her fiance finally managed to rent a uhaul) and was briefly living in a hotel lobby (fortunately that's no longer true). Someone set up a community specifically to benefit her, so I'm volunteering over there, but I thought you'd probably prefer to offer your work at the comm that benefits everyone.

Fandom_charity is a pretty awesome place. It was originally set up to benifit those affected by the tragedy in India (with the tidal wave) but has been resurrected for Katrina. And fandom people are cool and sometimes really dig deep for a good cause.
